As per the official brochure of KCET, candidates can get admission in courses like “Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Farm Science courses i.e. BSc (Agriculture), BSc (Sericulture), BSc (Horticulture), BSc (Forestry), BSc Agri Bio Tech, BHSc (Home Science), BTech (Agri Engg), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Tech), BFSc (Fisheries), BTech (Food Science &Tech), BSc (Agri Marketing & Co-Op) , BPharma, Pharma-D and 2nd year B.Pharma Lateral Entry course, in Government / University / Private Aided/ Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka”.
Candidates seeking admission in BArch courses in the state of Karnataka have to appear for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). NATA is an All India level entrance examination which is conducted by the Council of Architecture.

KCET 2017 dates have been declared. The exam in 2017 will be held on May 2 and May 3.

KCET 2017 eligibility criteria is different for courses applied for. Have a look at the eligibility criteria for KCET:
For Engineering / Technology courses
 Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination (QE) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study are eligible to apply for KCET exam.
Aspirants who have secured minimum of 45% marks in the optional subjects in the QE are eligible for to apply for Engineering/Technology courses (40% for QE in case of SC, ST, Category-I and OBC category candidates).
The marks obtained by a candidate in Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science in the QE, will be considered in place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained by him/her Chemistry are lesser than what the required aggregate percentage. However, this will be done only for the purpose of determination of eligibility and not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of Engineering / Technology courses.
The Engineering rank list will be prepared and published based on the candidate’s performance in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in both KCET 2017 as well as QE wherein the marks of each exam will be taken in equal proportion.
For (BTech) Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Food Science and Technology, Bachelor of Fishery Science, and BSc in Agriculture Marketing and Co-operation course.
KCET 2017 eligibility criteria for the above mentioned courses states that candidates can apply for these courses if they have passed their qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as optional subjects.
Also, based on the performance of the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects in both CET and QE by taking the marks in equal proportions, common rank list will be prepared and published separately for admission.

KCET 2017 application form
Candidates need to fill the application form for KCET exam legibly using a blue or black ink ball point pen in capital letters only.
The application form for KCET exam is a combination of ICR as well as OMR concept. The application form filled by candidates will be scanned by a machine. Thus, candidates are advised against making any stray marks on the form and also advised to refrain from enclosing any documents or papers along with their application forms.
Candidates need to fill the complete KCET application form because an incomplete form if submitted will be rejected as it is.

KCET 2017 Exam Pattern
 Candidates need to appear for CET in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects to secure admissions in Medical, Dental, Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy courses whereas those seeking admissions in Engineering / Technology courses conducted by KEA need to appear for entrance exams in Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects. On the other hand, Architecture course aspirants need to appear for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) which is conducted by the Council of Architecture.
 KCET is usually spread out over two days wherein aptitude of candidates is tested in four subjects. The tests for these subjects are held in four different sessions.

Marking system:
Each paper in KCET 2017 will be of 80 minutes duration and candidates can secure maximum of 60 marks in each exam.The CET has Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) wherein for every correct response candidates are awarded one mark. There is no negative marking in KCET.

AICTE has released CMAT 2017 merit list in the official website and the candidates can check their results now. According to the CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions, University Departments, Constituent Colleges and Affiliated Colleges. The CMAT 2017 was conducted on 28th January 2017. AIMA CMAT 2017 Scorecard can be downloaded from 9th Feb 2017, 10.00 am onwards, said the notification.

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

The merit list indicates roll number, rank and the score of all the candidates. CMAT-2017 score is valid for the admissions of academic year 2017-18.

There are over 3500 AICTE approved B-schools which are expected to take CMAT scores including JBIMS, Sydenham, KJ Somaiya, IMT and GIM among others.

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST - NEET (UG) 2017

NEET 2017 Complete Details
The test will be conducted on May 7, 2017 across 80 cities at 1,500 examination centres across the country.

CBSE will be conducting the test as per the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (amended in 2016) and the Dentists Act 1948 (also amended in 2016).

The examination is held for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in India in medical/dental colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the ministry of health and family welfare, except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament ie AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

Important note: Candidates need their Aadhaar number to fill up the online application of NEET 2017, except those from J&K, Assam and Meghalaya.

After conducting the test, the CBSE will prepare an all-India rank list based on the instructions of the Medical Council of India.

Last year, in both NEET-I and NEET-II, in total 8, 02,594 candidates were registered for the examination.

What is New in NEET 2017?
  • Candidates may attempt NEET exam only 3 times until cross the maximum age limit as 25 years for general and 30 years for reserved categories. NEET 2017 will be counted as 1 Attempt for all the candidates. Check Official Notification
  • As per the last order by Hon. Supreme Court, no other exam except NEET will be held for offering admission into MBBS/BDS courses in India from the year 2017 (except AIIMS & JIPMER). All seats (MBBS/BDS) of any medical/dental college will be filled by the score of NEET examination only.
  • NEET 2017 can be written in 10 regional languages including English, Tamil, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Odia, Kannada and Telugu.
  • All the Indian citizen candidates should possess AADHAAR card issued by UIDAI. At the time of filling application form of NEET 2017, the candidates will have to enter their AADHAAR number, name, date of birth & gender which will be validated with the UIDAI’s data.  In case, these particulars do not match, the candidates will not be able to fill the application form for NEET 2017. Therefore, the candidates are advised to ensure that their AADHAAR card has correct details of their name, date of birth & gender as per school records. FEB MAT Entrance Exams Tips

MAT Paper Pattern:

The test is divided into 5 sections of objective multiple choice questions. Each section will contain 40 questions. 

1. Language Comprehension: Time Suggested 30 mins
2. Mathematical Skills: Time Suggested 40 mins 
3. Data Analysis and Sufficiency: Time Suggested 35 mins 
4. Intelligence and Critical Reasoning: Time Suggested 30 mins

MAT Exam Tips
1. Practice sample papers/previous year papers as many as possible and remember to check the answers so you are able to find your weak areas.

5. Keep at least an hour per day to practice calculations and approximations

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) | B.Arch Admission 2017

The purpose of conducting NATA is to provide a single scheme of examination for holding aptitude test and 
to facilitate prospective students all over the country to apply for admissions in architecture seats in 
institutions spread across the country and to avoid appearing in multiple aptitude tests. However, the actual 
admissions shall be carried out only by the concerned competent authorities of the respective 
states/institutions based on NATA. The NATA also ensures that the eligibility criteria for admission to five 
year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course, as prescribed by CoA (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) and duly approved by the 
Central Government, are strictly adhered to and followed all over the country in Architectural Institutions.

NATA 2017 Registration

NATA 2017 Registration Form will be filled & submitted only through online mode. The registration has been started from 2nd January 2017. Last date for online registration will be 11th February 2017. No other mode will be entertained for registration. Candidates can keep the printout copy of the filled NATA Application Form 2017 for further reference.

NATA Registration Fee:

Candidates have to pay Rs. 1250 as registration fee. The fee can be paid through credit card/debit card/net banking. Candidates opting for exam centre Dubai are needed to pay an additional examination fee of INR 7000 prior to issuance of admit card.

NATA Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates can check the eligibility criteria before registering for the NATA Registration 2017. The eligibility criteria are mentioned here:

  • Three years diploma holders are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates have to pass HSLC or equivalent examination with Mathematics & obtain 50% marks.

Before registering for the NATA Exam, candidates have to ready with the given documents & details that are given below:

  • SSC (Std 10) Marksheet.
  • Photo ID (Driving License, Passport, UID Card, 12th admit card with photograph & signature (in originals), college ID card).
  • Scanned image of Photograph in a JPEG Format. The photograph size should be 4 – 100 KB (3.5 cm X 4.5 cm).
  • Scanned images of signature & thumb impress. The image size should be 1 – 30 kb (3.5 cm X 1.5 cm)
  • Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking Details.

Candidates have to follow the given steps involved during the online registration and submission of the NATA Registration Form 2017 are mentioned below:

Step-1: Registration
Go to the official site & click on “Online Registration for NATA 2017”. Go through the “New Candidate Registration” and click on “Apply”. Read the instruction carefully and click on “Click Here to Proceed”. The application form will be displayed on the screen.

Step-2: Fill Details
Candidates have to fill the following details given below:

Personal Details: Candidate Name, Father Name, Mother Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Person with Disability (PwD), Place of Residence, Annual Family Income, Nationality, Aadhaar Number (optional), Have you applied for JEE(Main) 2017 Paper- 2 and Have you applied for NATA 2016.

Exam City Option: Apply For and three choices for exam centres.

Education Details: Fill details of 10th & 12th class details like Pass Status, Course/Stream Name, Board/University, Passing Year, Obtained Mark, Total Mark, Marks (%), Roll No/Enroll No, Institute Name & Address and Pincode.

Communication Details: Address, Locality (optional), City/Town/Village, State, District, Pin Code, Email Address, Mobile Number (+91) and Land Line No. with STD code or any other Contact No..

Password: Choose your Password, Confirm Password, Select Security Question and fill the Security Answer.

Security Pin: Enter the security pin given in the below box. Check all your details carefully and click on “Submit” button.

After successful submission of application, an Application number gets generated that will be used for further use. Candidates note down the application number for login purpose.

Step-3: Image Upload
  • Go through the image upload section.
  • Select the scanned images of photograph, signature and thumb impression.
  • upload the scanned images one by one in prescribed format.

Step-4: Fee Payment
  • Click on the Fee Payment Option.
  • Pay the application fee through online mode (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking using BillDesk EPG services).
  • Fill all the payment details in the payment gateway and pay the application fee.
Step-5: Print Confirmation Page
  • After successful fee payment, candidates will be able to take printout of the application form.
  • Take printout of the confirmation page and keep it safe for further use.
  • Do not send the printout of the confirmation page to the authority.
Application Form Correction:
From this year, the conducting authority will give a chance to the candidates to rectify their mistakes in the NATA 2017 Application Form. The corrections can be made between 20th Feb (10:30 AM) to 24th Feb (11:59 PM).

ATMA Admit Card Download | AIMS Test for Management Admissions 2017

ATMA 2017 Admit Card for the AIMS Test for Management Admissions, is issued by Association of Indian Management Schools. Admit card of AIMS ATMA Feb 2017 for the exam which is scheduled to be held on 12 Feb 2017 can be obtained from the candidates log in by entering PID and password. Candidates need to download the same from the website, as no hard copy of the ATMA 2017 admit card will be sent to any of the students. COMEDK UGET 2017: Exam Dates, Application form, Eligibility, Syllabus

Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED K) conducts a state-level examination called COMEDK UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) to offer admissions to interested candidates in engineering and medical degree courses offered by colleges/institutes that are affiliated to COMEDK.

COMEDK UGET 2017 exam will be conducted on May 7 , across many cities in India for admissions to various UG programmes. COMEDK UGET scores are accepted by more than 150 engineering colleges, 12 medical colleges and 25 dental colleges in the state of Karnataka.

COMEDK 2017 Exam Highlights


  • COMEDK UGET 2017 Application form will be available from second week of February.
  • Around 187 colleges are participating in COMEDK UGET offering 29 specialisations in B.Tech.
  • For MBBS and BDS courses NEET score will be accepted.
  • COMEDK Exam will be conducted on May 7, 2017. It is an online test based on class 12th science stream syllabus.

COMED K Eligibility: For Engineering & Architecture Admission in Bangalore, Karnataka

Engineering:
a) The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E. is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a
compulsory subject.

b) The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted.

c) An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list.

d) Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

Architecture:
a) The prescribed qualifying examination for admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government and having obtained atleast 50% marks in aggregate (45% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka).

b) The candidates should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 marks for both General Merit and Category students.

c) (i) There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course.
    (ii) Candidates seeking B. Arch course shall submit separate application for participation in the Counseling.

Note: Notwithstanding the eligibility criteria mentioned as above, the changes, if any, prescribed by AICTE, COA or any other competent Regulatory Authorities shall be adopted.

COMED K Entrance Exam Application Process

Candidates can apply for COMEDK UGET 2017 online on the official website of this engineering and medical entrance exam. The important dates right from the start date for registration to result declaration as well as COMEDK UGET 2017 counselling dates will be available on the official website of COMEDK. 

Candidates can apply online from second week of February. The registration process will include the following steps:

Step – 1 (Registration) - Candidates have to fill a Request for Application (RFA) form. On successful submission, they will be given their login details.
Step – 2 (Fill the Application Form) - Candidates have to fill their personal and educational qualifications details.
Step- 3 (Uploading Documents) -  Candidates have to upload their recent size photograph and signature as per the specified dimension. They should also attach a photocopy of Date of Birth proof.
Step – 4 (Submit the Application Form) - After submission of the application form, Candidates have to send it along with demand draft of Rs 1200/-  to below mentioned address:

Mode of Fee Payment

Candidates can remit fee both online and offline. The can pay fee via credit card, debit card or net banking. In offline mode it can be paid through bank challan at any Axis bank branch.

COMEDK UGET 2017 Important Exam Dates

COMEDK exam is scheduled on May 7, 2017. Application forms will be available from second week of February. Candidates can apply online on the official website. They

COMEDK Participating Colleges:

Around 160 engineering colleges and 150 medical/dental colleges grant admission on the basis of COMEDK exam. For B.Tech and B.Arch admission COMEDK Score is considered while MBBS and BDS admissions are done on the basis of NEET score. For COMEDK seat allotment a centralised counselling process is conducted.
