IBSAT Exam will be held in online mode only and the duration of the exam
will be of 02 hours. Like any other management entrance exam, IBSAT will also
have multiple choice questions and the motive behind the conduct of this exam
is to judge the aptitude and basic management skills of the students. Strict
knowledge based or some subject specific questions are not asked in the exam.
The questions are basically asked from the sections of Reading Comprehension,
Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation & Adequacy & Quantitative Aptitude.
A total of 125 questions is asked in the IBSAT Exam.

IBSAT Exam Syllabus
#1 – Verbal Ability
It is essentially a Vocabulary heavy section, and to do
well, a student is advised to develop a good command over words. It is the
section included for examining the knowledge and skills of the appearing
candidates regarding “English”. Questions here in this section will be
based on Fill in the blanks, Sentence Correction, Antonyms, Sentence Completion,
Analogies, Synonyms & Para Jumbles, etc.
#2 – Reading Comprehension
This section can be regarded as most scoring one. Here
candidates will have to read the given passage and will be required to answer
questions based on that given passage. General reading and understanding
ability of the student will be required here. For scoring high in this section,
sample test papers can be practised rigorously by the student.
#3 – Quantitative Aptitude
Students having a good grip on Mathematics and quick
calculations will not find this section difficult. But again, regular practise
will help scoring high. Here in this section, questions will be asked from
Geometry, Business Mathematics & Arithmetic. Questions in this section will
be based on direct applications of concepts and formulae.
#4 Data Sufficiency & Data Interpretation
Students having knowledge of converting fractions into
percentage, multiplication tables, square & cube roots, other calculation
short-cuts and quick calculation techniques will be able to solve these
questions easily and will take less time. Though this section may be too much
time consuming but quite scoring also as each correct answer will help making
good score. Questions based on Data Interpretation will be asked on the basis
of Pie chart, Tables, Data Sufficiency & Bar / Line graphs.
