After the declaration of XAT 2016 result, XLRI Jamshedpur and other B-schools accepting XAT scores would declare their cutoffs. However, some B-schools will announce their XAT 2016 Cutoff prior to the result. This article will bring to you the cutoffs of the top participating institutes.
It is expected that the XAT Cutoff 2016 will be similar to that of last year. For many B-schools, the cutoff ranges remain same for years, while others change the cutoff percentiles based on the factors like difficulty level of the exam, the number of test takers, number of seats etc.

General Knowledge marks will not be considered in the XAT 2016 result. This will only be considered during the final round. Selection of candidates will be governed by the XAT 2016 cut-off score and ranks finalized by the exam bodies. The course wise cut-off will determine the admissions in different courses.

XAT 2015 Cutoff – Important Points
Here are some important points of XAT cutoff 2015 that will influence the cutoff for XAT 2016.
1. If the difficulty level is more than the cutoffs will be low and vice versa.
2. The number of candidates registered and is appearing for the exam.

XAT 2016 Counselling :
XAT exam is conducted for admission in its flagship Business Management (BM), Industrial Relations (PMIR) and Personnel Management programmes and 15 months full-time residential GMP (General Management Program). The XAT result will be available in the last week of january. After the announcement of the result the XAT Counselling 2016 procedure will begin. The counselling procedure will be organized through online mode. In last selection process, shortlisted candidates will appear in the group discussion (GD), Personal Interviews (PI) and or WAT rounds conducted by the B-schools.XLRI and other XAT participating B-schools will be shortlisted the candidates on the premises of their performance and on the basis of the cutoff.
Documents Required :
· High School mark sheet and passing certificate.
· Intermediate mark sheet and passing certificate.
Counselling Procedure
Candidates may follow the following procedure for XAT counselling and confirm their seats that are given below.
Registration
Those candidates are interested to get admission in Xavier affiliated management schools they may first register themselves for XLRI programmes. Then candidates choose their interview city and programmes of their interest.
Fee Payment
After the registration, candidates pay the fee for interested programme. For Indian candidates, the fee for XLRI is Rs. 1500 for all applicants irrespective of any number of programmes and Rs. 250 each for every additional programmes. For foreign and NRI candidates, the fee for XLRI is $50 and $25 each for every additional programmes. The fee will be submitted through online payment gateway (VISA/Master – Credit & Debit Cards, Net Banking), Cash Payment and DD. Candidates have to get a DD made in favour of “XLRI Programmes” payable at Jamshedpur.
XLRI Confirmation Page
Print XLRI affirmation page and send alongside the payment evidence/Pay-in-slip/DD to the Admission Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur – 831001 in fifteen days from the date of payment or issuance of DD. Enclose the photo copies of 10th, 12th and graduation mark sheets.
Declaring Shortlisted Candidates for GD/PI
Shortlisted candidates for XLRI programmes will be communicated individually.
