BLDE University invites applications for All India Undergraduate Medical Entrance Test 2016 (BLDEU-UGET-2016) from eligible Candidates for admission to MBBS Program offered by Shri. B.M. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Bijapur, the constituent College
Constituent College Shri B.M. Patil Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Vijayapura (Bijapur), Karanataka offers around 150 seats in the MBBS Program
MBBS Duration: 4 years
Internship: 1 year
Eligibility Criteria
Only those candidates seeking admission in BLDE University, who would satify or are likely to satisfy the following relevant eligibility requirements for admission to MBBS course will be considered eligible to appear for the UGET (BLDE-UGET) and subsequently for admission to the course
The following points mentioned as under BLDE UGET Eligibility are to be read, understood by the candidates before applying
Age Criteria: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination, which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent exam
The last two years of study should have comprised of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-Technology (PCB) subjects with English as a compulsory subject. The candidates must have passed these subjects individually
Minimum Percentage of Marks of Admission: The minimum percentage of marks for admission to undergraduate courses shall be 50% for candidates belonging to General Category, 45% for candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority) and 40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST & OBC
Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying exam i.e. PUC-II/10+2/HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered to appear for BLDE UGET, provided they have appeared
BLDEU UGET 2016 Exam Pattern
A single test combining Physics, Chemistry and Biology /Bio-technology subjects was held. There were a total of 180 questions: 60 questions in Physics, 60 questions in Chemistry and 60 questions in Biology
The test duration for combined paper was 180 minutes, and was compulsory for all candidates seeking admission to MBBS course. Candidates were required to mark-their answers on an OMR sheet (Optical Mark Reader)
Correct answer for each question was awarded one mark. No marks were awarded for wrong answer. There was no negative marking

How to Apply

Relevant information and data entry is to be made in the online application format by the candidate before generating the application form. Hard copy of the generated application form along with relevant enclosures, should be sent to the University
Instructions to candidates for filling the application form
Payment of entrance test/application fees Rs.2000/- can be paid online or through demand draft
Take the print of Online Payment Receipt and attach the same along with application form and also keep a copy for record; if paid through demand draft please ensure that:
i. Demand Draft for Rs.2000/- is drawn in favour of "The Registrar, BLDE University", payable at Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103
ii. Ensure that the Demand Draft is payable at Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103, Karnataka State; please note that this fee is non-refundable, even if the application is rejected for any reasons (because of incomplete information or ineligibility of the candidate) or if the candidate does not appear for the Entrance Test
The application form is said to be complete only if it is enclosed with all the documents mentioned below and after verification of the same submitted in person/speed post/courier
The completed forms should be sent to "The Registrar, BLDE University, Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Campus, Sholapur Road, Bijapur-586103", Karnataka State, India (in A4 size envelope please mention UGET-2016 Application on envelope)
Payment of Entrance Test/Application fee Rs.2000/- can be paid online or through demand draft
If paid through Online (SBI Collect) please ensure that, Take the print of Online Payment Receipt and attach the same along with Application form and also keep a copy for record and Enter the "SB Collect Reference Number" of 10 digit (for eg: DU12345678) in the Online application form at the space provided.

Last Date to Receive the Applications (Hard Copy along with enclosures either in Person or by Post / Courier): 20th May 2016 (05.00 PM)
Last Date to Receive Request for change of TEST Centre: 16th May 2016
Downloading of TAT Card from University Website: 17th May 2016 (onwards)
BLDEU-UGET-2016 Entrance Test: 28th May 2016 (Saturday, 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM)
Date of Result/Publishing Rank List: On or before 05th June 2016
Downloading of Rank Cards/Counselling Letter: 06th June 2016
First Round of Counselling & Admission: 24th June 2016, onwards
Last Day to Withdraw the Admission (before 2nd Counselling): 30th July 2016
Second Round of Counselling & Admission for vacant seats: 31st July 2016
Commencement of Academic Session: 01st August 2016
