NEET PG 2017 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 5 to December 13. There will be a total of 8 testing days within this testing window, with 2 testing sessions a day. The aspirants who are planning to appear for the exam can go through the syllabus and scheme of NEET PG 2017 exam. The aspirants will be allocated to appear either in Forenoon session or in the Afternoon session i.e. NEET-PG 2017 comprises of ONE session/candidate only. The syllabus for the exam will comprise of subjects/knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior approval of Government of India.
The syllabus of NEET PG 2017 is as per the latest Graduate Medical Education Regulations notified by the Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Govt. of India. As per the paper pattern of NEET PG, the exam will be of multiple choice questions exam delivered on computer based platform (CBT). The exam will comprise of 300 Multiple Choices, each single correct response questions will be in English language only. The time allotted  for the NEET PG will be three hours and thirty minutes.
The weightage of MCQs in each specialty is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its right to alter/vary/amend the same. There will be no negative marking. The NEET PG 2017  examination will be a multiple choice questions exam delivered on computer based platform (CBT). The exam  will comprises of 300 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in English language only. Time allotted for NEET PG  2017 exam is 3hr 30 min while the weightage of MCQs in each specialty is indicative and purely provisional. Aspirants should also note that there will no negative marking for the candidates.
It is important to note that the aspirants should prepare subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Social and preventive medicine, medicine dermatology and Venereology, Surgery, ENT, SURGERY, ENT, Orthopedics and Anaesthesia, Radiodiagnosis and radiotherapy, obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry. The total marks for the candidates will 300.
