Applications have been invited by CMS Business School (Jain University), Bangalore for admissions to Management courses (MBA) for the academic year 2017-18 through Jain entrance test 2017. The notification for Jain University CMS Business School Jain entrance Test 2017 has been announced.

Eligible and interested candidates for admission to MBA Session through entrance test i.e. JET 2017 (Jain Entrance test 2017) for the upcoming session can apply. Candidates seeking admission to Jain University into different programmes like engineering, science, computer application, management and other courses should appear in JET 2017 as per prescribed schedule.

Test Date: 18 March 2017, Saturday
Test Timings: 09.00 am - 11.00 am
Scholarship Test Timings: 12.00 pm - 02.00 pm
Group Discussion: 18 March 2017 , Saturday (12 pm)
Personal Interview: 19 March 2017 , Sunday
Final Decision: 19 March 2017, Sunday

Entrance Test

The written test will consist of 4 sections (total 100 marks).

Section 1: Essay writing – 20 marks. Standard Essay Writing Skills.
Section 2: Subject based questions-20 marks.
Section 3: - 20 marks.
Section 4: Current affairs concerned to your topic – 40 marks. Under this section refer to standard Business Magazines, Newspapers on National & International Current Affairs.

Group Discussion (GD)

The GD is one of the vital components of the selection procedure and it is an formal exercise that facilitates the exchange of ideas on a given subject or topic. The GD is a powerful tool for assessing personality traits, leadership qualities and attitudes.

Personal Interview

The final rung of the ladder involves a personal interview. Candidates who have merged successful from the other levels will be called to attend a personal interview with the Admission Committee.

Final Decision

On completion of the personal interview, the Admission committee will review your application again. After carefully re-evaluating your personal details, presentation, performance at the Group Discussion and the conclusions drawn from the interview, the Committee will come to a final decision.

Scholarship

Jain University offers scholarship to meritorious students who fulfill the criteria decided by the admission committee. The scholarship will be a tuition fee waiver on a percentage basis and will not cover living cost. If the student loses interest in academic work and performs below par or fails to put in requisite attendance, he/she will forfeit the scholarship from that year. The scholarship has to be renewed each year. The renewal is subject to his/her fulfilling the criteria mentioned above Students who are eligible for the scholarship should appear for a test on 18th March 2017, Saturday at 12:00 noon

Note:

  • To qualify for the scholarship test the student must possess a percentage of 75% marks in his/her first two years or IV semesters.
  • Students should submit a photocopy of their marks card.
  • The list of candidates who have gained provisional admission to the respective program will be displayed on the website (www.jainniversity.ac.in) as well as on the respective campus notice board.
