The candidates desirous to apply for CMAT 2016-17 are required to get themselves register online.
They must fill-in and submit the CMAT Application Form to appear for CMAT
2016. Also they will be required to pay requisite application fee while
registering for the test using available payment modes. The candidates can
access the Application Form from the respective link given in the article.
To register for CMAT, the candidates are required to enter as “New User”
and fill a self-registration form by entering a few basic details. On
submission of this form, a unique 6 digit password will be generated. This
password will be sent to the candidates via e-mail and SMS. Thereafter,
using this password and ID, the candidates can login
to the registration portal for filling the application form and pay
application fee. After re-login, the candidates must pay the application fee
and fill the application form correctly to complete the CMAT registration
process.
Payment
Process
Payment can be done via two modes:
Mode i) PAYMENT: You can select
ONLINE PAYMENT mode and then do the payment using Credit card / Debit card /
Net Banking
Once your payment is successfully done, you will receive a confirmation
E-mail and SMS. Once you have received the successful payment confirmation, you
can proceed with the remaining part of registration process
Mode ii) CASH Payment in SBI bank:
You can select this option to pay by CASH at any of the designated SBI bank
branch. Once you select this option and proceed, you will see a CHALLAN on your
screen with your details already filled in it. You need to take 3 PRINT OUTS of
this CHALLAN, fill in the details wherever required in all the copies, and walk
in to your nearest SBI bank branch with CASH on the next day of generation of
Challan. Cash Deposit will be accepted only from the next day of your Challan
generation
E.g.If you
Generate and Print the Challan copies on 3rd November, 2015, then walk in to
the nearest SBI bank branch with Challan copies and CASH from 4th November,
2015 onwards. Similarly if you PRINT the CHALLAN copies on 4th November, 2015,
then walk in to the nearest SBI bank branch with Challan copies and CASH from
5th November 2015 onwards
NOTE:The last
date to pay CASH in bank is 11th December 2015 and from there onwards to
complete registration is 13th December 2015. Submission of final application after
payment will not be possible after 13th December, 2015.
Application fee and Mode of
remittance

The candidates belonging to General category are
required to pay Rs.
1400/- + Bank charges as
applicable for any test centre chosen in India while the candidates belonging
to Reserved categories are required to pay Rs. 700/- + Bank charges as applicable.

The fee is non refundable and can be paid
either online via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking or through cash at any SBI
Bank branch in India against the Challan generated online at the time of the
registration.
Result and Selection:
The result for CMAT will be
announced on 21 January 2016.
It will be declared online and will be uploaded on the official website of
CMAT. The candidates will be required to login into their respective accounts
using “Existing User” link on the official website for checking the result. The
result of CMAT will furnish the section-wise score and total score of the
candidates. The merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments
for allotting the candidates via a central counselling according to their
notified admission procedure. In absence of a central counselling, admission
will be allotted directly in the AICTE approved Institutes/University
Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges.
CMAT scores can be used for admission
in AICTE approved institutions/university departments.The detailed merit list
will also be provided to state governments for allotting students through
central counselling.
