MH PGMPGDCET 2016 : Selection Process

·         The selection will be done as per merit (SML no.), category and on the basis of Preferences (choices/options) given by candidates in Preference form.
·         The selection list will be declared on website. The list of candidates (excluding in-service quota seats) selected for MDS/MD/MS courses shall be displayed at the website of DMER i.e. www.dmer.org.
·         As per the selection list the candidate should report to respective course and college along with original documents and prescribed fees. Candidate will not be given separate selection letter.
·         In-service candidates shall be issued separate selection letters from Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Mumbai. Should report to respective Course and College along with original documents and prescribed fees. Candidate will not be given separate selection letter.
·         If the candidate does not report by prescribed date, then his / her selection automatically stands cancelled and he / she will not be considered for the subsequent selection process.
·         Status Retention of Admission: After selection in first/subsequent rounds, if the candidate desires to retain the same selection (subject & college) and does not want to take any further betterment, then he can do so by filling 'Status Retention Form' in the prescribed proforma of PGM PGD CET 2016 brochure within specified time period after selection which will be notified by the Competent Authority. 'Status Retention Form' is to be submitted to the Competent Authority through the college where he/she is admitted. However, candidate should note that his/her name will be deleted from the further selection process for the academic year 2016.
·         Candidates may resign before prescribe dates which will be notified in due course of time to be eligible for the PGM PGD-CET 2016 examination. However, such a candidate is eligible for subsequent admission process (PGM PGD-CET 2016) for the final round by personal appearance.
·         Process for filling vacant seats: After first round, the vacant seats and seats surrendered from All India Quota, if any will be filled in. For these seats the selected as well as not selected candidates who have filled the Preference form are eligible. For this process PGM PGD-CET-2016 merit list of eligible candidates will be operated from SML number 1 onwards. The candidate getting selected in round one will be considered for betterment in the subsequent selection process. The betterment herein means the higher Preference exercised by the candidate. The shift in such betterment shall be compulsory and mandatory except for those who have filled 'Status Retention Form.' on prescribed dates. Such a candidate who has filled Status Retention form will not be considered for any subsequent selection process. However those candidates opting for betterment will have to collect original certificates and admissible refund of fees as per procedure from previous college and join the new course and college within stipulated joining period.
·         All India quota seats surrendered back to State Quota shall retain their original character. Seat(s) remaining vacant due to non-availability of a physically handicapped eligible candidate, will be reverted back to the state quota.
·         Candidates cancelling his/her admission after prescribe date resulting in lapse of a seatwill not be eligible for the PGM PGD-CET 2017 & PGM PGD-CET 2018 examination.

·         Candidate should read PGM PGD-CET-2016 brochure for other relevant information.
