NEET PG Results & Counselling 2017 | MD MS PG Medical Admission 2017

NEET PG Counselling 2017 is the online counselling for All India Level Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination know as NEET PG, and seat allotment. Online counselling for NEET PG 2017 is being looked after by the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Candidates who have qualified in the NBE NEET PG 2017 are eligible to participate in the online counselling for all India 50% quota seats for 2017 admission session. Seat allotment for NEET PG 2017 post graduate medical courses and other procedures of registration for counselling, are to be done at mcc.nic.in. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for entrance to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in terms of Section 10 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 as amended in 2016 shall be conducted by the National Board of Examinations.

NEET PG Counselling 2017

Directorate General of health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is holding the online counseling for 50% All India Quota post-graduate Medical seats. Counselling for NEET PG 2017 is being conducted on the basis of NEET PG Result 2017 declared by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

MD MS Admission 2017, NEET PG 2017, NEET PG Counselling, PG Medical Entrance Exam, MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAMAll India 50% quota seats admission through NEET PG 2017 counselling by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is only for qualified candidates. Other candidates who score more than the minimum qualifying score but less than the cut off score in their respective category (SC/ST/OBC/UR) for candidates do not figure in the result for All India 50% quota seats.

Counselling for PG Seats

All India 50 % Quota Seats: Counseling for All India 50% quota seats shall be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India using the result of NEET-PG 2017 All India 50% Quota Seats.

State Quota Seats: Counseling for admission to state quota seats shall be conducted by the concerned States /designated authority/University using NET PG Scores as per their eligibility criteria, applicable Regulations, guidelines and applicable reservation policies.

Admission to Private Medical Colleges, Institutes, Universities, Deemed Universities: Counseling for admission to private Medical Colleges, Institutions, Universities & Deemed Universities shall be conducted by the designated counseling authority of these Private Colleges/Institutions/Institutes/Universities/Deemed Universities using NEET-PG scores and as per applicable Regulations and/or their eligibility
criteria, reservation policy, etc

Admission to Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions: 

Counseling for admission to Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions shall be conducted by the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), Ministry of Defence, Government of India using NEET-PG scores and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable Regulations & guidelines.

Admission to DNB Broad Specialty Courses (Jan 2017 Session):

Centralized merit based Counseling for admission to DNB Courses shall be conducted by NBE using NEET-PG scores.

Counselling for MDS Seats

All India 50% Quota Seats: Counseling for All India 50% quota seats shall be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India using the result of NEET-MDS 2017 for All India 50% Quota Seats.

AIPMT Exam 2016: Admit Cards Available For Download From April 7

AIPMT exam 2016: The results will be declared on June 5. The exam will start at 10 am and the duration of test would be three hours.

The admit cards of the All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Test’s (AIPMT) exam will be released on April 7. According to a circular, CBSE was supposed to upload it on April 1 but since some candidates have not updated their details, therefore the admit cards will now release on April 7.
AIPMT Exam 2016: Admit Cards Available For Download From April 7

The exam is scheduled to be held on May 1.

The results will be declared on June 5. The exam will start at 10 am and the duration of test would be three hours.

The exam will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, for admissions to MBBS/BDS courses for the academic session 2016-17.


The entrance exam will consist of 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

COMEDK PGET 2016 - MEDICAL TEST | APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCEDURE

The Candidates have to register themselves at www.Comedk.org. The candidates may access the How to Apply Document, general instructions and the explanation for filling the required fields through the link in the website https://www.comedk.org. However, these instructions are reproduced as under.
A. Instructions for Registration
  1. Name of the Applicant: Enter your full Name (as it appears in your SSLC/10th Std Marks Card), In the case of a candidate who has changed his/ her name for any reason, the original proof of the same has to be produced at the time of counselling.
  2. Email-ID: Enter your valid Email ID for all correspondence.
  3. Mobile No. Enter your Mobile number.
B.General Instructions for Registration
  1. All the details asked for in Registration /Application form are Mandatory.
  2. E-mail ID and mobile number should remain the same till the counseling process is completed
  3. An Email ID once used for Registration online cannot be used again.
  4. Enter Unique id proof and Number.
After successful registration, you will receive the User id and Password on your Mobile Number and E mail id which is unique & system generated. Log in with your unique USER ID and PASSWORD to complete the application process. Click on EDIT button (Right hand top corner) to be directed to Application Form

Instructions for filling the Online Application Form

Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before filling up the online Application Form
General Instructions.
No request for any change in the data submitted in the application, once submitted online will be entertained; hence the candidates are cautioned to be careful while filling the Online Application Form.
·         Ensure that Online Application Form is filled properly with all complete details
·         Incomplete / incorrect applications are liable to be rejected at any stage without prior information to the candidate.
·         COMEDK is not responsible for any error that the candidate commits while filling the Online Application Form.
·         Follow the guidelines strictly for scanning and uploading of the photograph, signature and other required documents.
Demand Draft for Rs.3000/- as application fee shall be drawn only from the National banks in favour of "COMEDK" payable atBangalore
 Admit card:
·         Online test admission ticket will be available under applicant login of the COMEDK website from 09th January 2016
·         Candidates appearing for the Test should download & obtain printout of the Online Test Admission Ticket (Online TAT)
·         No Test Admission Ticket will be dispatched either by post or courier or in person to the candidates under any circumstances
·         Candidates will not be allowed to write the COMEDK PGET-2016 without the print out of Online Test Admission Ticket along with other documents indicated thereon. Candidates are advised to go through the below mentioned instructions carefully before printing the Online Test Admission Ticket (TAT)
·         Candidates will not be allowed to write the COMEDK-PGET-2016 without the print out of online test admission ticket, date of birth certificate (candidate copy) and an acceptable photo ID proof in original
The result of COMEDK PGET 2016 will be declared only for the qualified candidates who have scored the qualifying marks. The COMEDK PGET 2016 test score will be declared on February 3,2016 whereas COMEDK PGET 2016 Ranks will be declared on February 5, 2016. The minimum percentage of marks candidates must secure to pass COMEDK PGET 2016 is 50% for General and 40% for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe (All India) and Backward Classes belonging to Karnataka State.

COMEDK PGET 2016 Merit List: 
The merit list of COMEDK PGET 2016 will be based on the candidate’s total marks obtained in the entrance exam. Based on the merit list candidates will be called for counselling and seats will be allotted as per their rank.


Allotment of Post graduate medical and dental courses under COMEDK for eligible candidates will be done through the single window, i.e. Centralized Counselling. Candidates appearing for COMEDK PGET 2016 Counselling have to download and take a print out of the Online Rank Card. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the counselling venue without a valid Online Rank Card which is one of the mandatory documents.

COMEDK PGET 2016 - MEDICAL TEST ELIGIBILITY AND IMPORTANT DATES

Candidates from all over the country can appear for the said entrance examination. The eligibility criteria for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma programs have been as published by COMEDK in its Notification dated 15.09.2015 and reiterated in the brochure notified on 09-11-2015 on its website www.comedk.org which are reproduced as under:-
·         Applicants must meet all the requirements stipulated by MCI / DCI from time to time.
·         They should have successfully passed their MBBS / BDS from an Institution recognized by MCI / DCI.
·         They must have completed or be completing their internship by 30th April 2016 at the latest.
·         The minimum percentage of marks in the COMEDK PGET – 2016 shall be 50% for General Merit candidates and 40% for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe (All India) and Other Backward Classes belonging to Karnataka State.
·         They should have obtained permanent registration with the MCI / DCI or any of the State Medical / Dental Council.
  • Candidates who are unacceptable:
1.   Candidates already holding a PG Degree in any specialty.
2.   Candidates who are pursuing a PG Degree / Diploma in any clinical specialty after securing the seat through COMEDK in the earlier years.
3.   Candidates having selected a seat earlier through COMEDK and failed to join the college so selected or failed to
4.   surrender the said seat at the COMEDK level or having joined the college failed to pursue the course.
5.   Candidates who have been debarred by COMEDK during the previous years for any examination malpractice.
Note:
  1. Notwithstanding the eligibility criteria mentioned as above, the changes, if any, effected by MCI/DCI or any other competent Regulatory Authorities shall be adopted.
  2. In the case of an Indian national with the recognized degree from a Foreign University, the degree should have been duly registered in the country where the degree is obtained and should also have been recognized by the Medical/Dental Council of India.
  3. Rank list / Rank Card will be prepared only for those candidates who become eligible for admission to Post Graduate Courses as per the regulations of Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India.

Scope of COMEDK PGET-2016

·         The entrance test is being conducted for merit determination for use by COMEDK Member Institutions only
·         The COMEDK entrance test is for candidates seeking admissions for the Post-Graduate courses in these Institutions
·         The COMEDK PGET-2016 test scores are valid only for admissions during the academic year 2016-17
·         There will be a separate entrance test for Post Graduate Medical and Dental Courses

·         The COMEDK PGET-2016 will be conducted on line at various cities across India only on Sunday the 17th January 2016 at designated centres

EligibilityCriteria

·         Applicants must meet all requirements stipulated by MCI/DCI Accordingly, they should have successfully passed their MBBS/BDS from an institution recognized by MCI/DCI, and must have completed or completing their internship by 30th April 2016 at the latest
·         The minimum percentage of marks in the Entrance Test (COMEDK PGET-2016) for eligibility and admission to Post Graduate Courses shall be 50% for General Merit candidates and 40% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST (All India) and OBC belonging to Karnataka State only
·         Only candidate’s who are due to complete the internship on or before 30th April 2016 are eligible Candidates who have appeared for COMEDK PGET during the last three years and selected a clinical PG degree seat and got admitted to any of the COMEDK Member Institutions are not allowed to appear for COMEDK PGET-2016
COMEDK PGET 2016 Exam Pattern: COMEDK PGET 2016 is a computer based based test which is schedule to be held on January 17. The exam will be conducted on the basis of syllabus prescribed by Medical Council of India (MCI) and Dental Council of India (DCI). Candidates can read below for the exam pattern of COMEDK PGET 2016:
·         There will be a separate test for PG Medical and a separate test for PG Dental.
·         Each test will consist of 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
·         The time allotted for the test is 180 minutes (3 hours)
·         Each answer will be awarded one mark
·         There will be no negative marking

 The application procedure of COMEDK PGET 2016 started on November 10, 2015. Candidates who wish to apply for COMEDK PGET 2016 must note that applications should be submitted in online mode on or before January 2, 2016. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before filling up the online Application Form. Candidates must ensure that COMEDK PGET 2016 Application Form must be filled properly with all complete details.
